Peoral cholangioscopy has become more and more important in the diagnostic and therapeutic management in pancreato-biliary diseases. Recently, a new prototype peroral direct cholangioscopy with double-bending design occurs and it has great potential in clinical use, which still needs further research on its feasibility, maneuverability and safety.
