Abstract:Hemorrhoids is the most common disease of anus with a high prevalence rate, which seriously affects patients" quality of life. In recent years, with the rapid development of endoscopic technology, endoscopic minimally invasive treatments represented by endoscopic ligation and sclerotherapy are gradually emerging. With the advantages of simple operation, safety and effectiveness, less trauma, and fast recovery, endoscopic treatments are welcomed by the majority of doctors and patients. This article reviews the status and prospects of this kind of technology.
