Abstract:With the improvement of endoscopic diagnosis and treatment techniques and accumulation of clinical experience for early gastrointestinal cancer, especially the introduction and popularization of narrow band imaging technology, more and more superficial pharyngeal carcinomas are detected. Meanwhile, minimally invasive endoscopic treatment has also been gradually used in clinical practice, which significantly improves the prognosis and quality of life of patients with pharyngeal carcinoma. This article reviews the current methods, effects and progress of endoscopic diagnosis and treatment of superficial pharyngeal carcinoma.
