Endoscopy combined with other imaging methods can distinguish gastric cancer from submucosal tumor, however, a small number of gastric cancers lack typical endoscopic manifestations, they are easy to be misdiagnosed as submucosal tumor. A case of low differentiated adenocarcinoma suspected of gastric stromal tumor was diagnosed in our department.
