Intestinal ultrasound (IUS) can be used to evaluate intestinal inflammation, mucosal lesions and extra-mucosal complications, and has been widely used in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) in recent years. This article focuses on the application and research progress of transabdominal IUS in IBD.
